Please note that the experts don’t text so there may be a bit of a delay. If you don’t answer back for a while I may not be online when you do but I will never desert you and will check back often. As well, as I am working from home it is possible that I will be interrupted but I will always return back as soon as I can.

I am sorry to hear of this difficult situation.

Are you asking about coming to Canada on a temporary work permit or about immigrating to Canada?

Customer
Due to US immigration and job related issues, I would like to move to Canada with a PR using an angel investor
Customer
Since my age is 48 , it is very difficult to move on job-based immigration
Customer
I need to plan in the long term what needs to be done.

There is no investor category right now unless you are involved in sports or culture. So if you cannot gain PR status as a skilled worker the only other idea would be if you have expertise in start ups.

I suggest you read this information here:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/start-visa.html

Does that help?

Customer
Is there any specific province is giving a PR with no bar in age, no bar in IELTS requirements and easily go through
Customer
I had all 7 IELTS score, but this has been expired
Customer
Stability is the main issue and I need to get a PR. I heard that angel investors can help you to start a business in real estate and get a PR easily
Customer
Two additional questions 1)Is there any specific province is giving a PR with no bar in age, no bar in IELTS requirements, and easily go through using provincial nomination 2) I heard that angel investors can help you to start a business in real estate and get a PR easily

But that's not true. I've shown you the only way that you can immigrate aside for being a skilled worker.

I don't know what the various provinces have in terms are there provincial nominee programs right now. Things change all the time and things are in chaos because of Covid. You would have to research each province's site but generally none of them have anything related to investors.

Customer
ok. Angel investors are mentioned inside your link
Customer
there are angel investors given in the link
Customer
Thanks

Yes there are but you have to have experience in start ups. That's why I think you should read all that information very carefully. It's your very best route to go if you can get yourself in there.

Customer
ok. Thanks

Customer
Hi Debra, I have a follow-up question for you. Based on the current regulations of H1B holders restriction in the US market, what is your advice on moving to Canada in 2021? I know I can move to Canada using a start-up using angel investors. Do you think that I should start working now itself to form a start-up while in a job in the USA?

Debra, Expert

I don't know the law in the US but for Canada sure, start working on this as quickly as you can.
