I am sorry to hear of this difficult situation.

Have you told your supervisor?

Are you in a union?

Customer
I have not said any thing yet to any one, I just see it getting worse as the days go on, this is serious to me as I have a reputation that I care about and I am not sure about what to do,,maybe just quit and move away is the best

That doesn't make sense. You can fight this.

First, speak to your employer and ask for their help. This is grounds for the employee to be dismissed.

Second retain a lawyer and have the lawyer send them a cease and desist letter demanding that they cease defaming you and providing you with a written retraction and threatening a lawsuit.

If that doesn't work you can sue them.

Does that help?

Please feel free to post back with any follow-up questions you may have. If you don't have any then I hope I have earned a 5 star rating but if you don't feel that I have please don't hesitate to reply back and let me know what more I can do to assist you. Finally, please know that even after you rate me I will be here for you and you can ask follow-up questions if you think of them later on at no further charge of course.

But that is not the case when the person provides you with a written retraction!
