Hello! My name is Debra (formerly known as Legal Ease). Thank you for your question. I'm reviewing it now, and will post back again shortly.

I am sorry to hear this.
Do you share a bathroom or kitchen with the landlord?
Debra, Expert
It is not possible to evict you without grounds and without an order.
Evictions are now possible so the COVID emergency measures won't protect you.
But you first need to receive a notice of eviction and then after that when you refuse to go you the landlord would have to apply for an order which you would fight. It will be a long time before the landlord can get a hearing because the back log is very long.
And even if they can get a hearing they have to prove grounds.
Does that help?
Please feel free to post back with any follow-up questions you may have. If you don't have any then I hope I have earned a 5 star rating but if you don't feel that I have please don't hesitate to reply back and let me know what more I can do to assist you. Finally, please know that even after you rate me I will be here for you and you can ask follow-up questions if you think of them later on at no further charge of course.

No because you are a tenant. You don't share the space with your landlord so you are protected by the Residential Tenancies Act.
