Debra, Expert

I am sorry to hear this but what is your specific legal question please?

Customer
Do I have the right to take the dog?
If the mother has me come get the pup. The daughter was to call the police. Do I have the right to take the pup

Debra, Expert

The daughter can call the police all she likes. First, it is a civil matter. Second the dog is her mother's so this is between the daughter and her mother if the daughter is upset.

But the contract and the issues relating to the dog are between you and the mother.

Does that make sense?

Please feel free to post back with any follow-up questions you may have.
