Do you have any paperwork about the vehicle being seized?

What's the approximate value?

Customer
No I don't have any paperwork about my car being seized, and it was only worth 3500 and I made payment to get the car about 3yrs ago.

Here's an excellent CBC article on the subject:

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/bc-administrative-civil-forfeiture-data-part-one-1.5180022

From everything I see it's very difficult to get a vehicle back, as BC has Civil Forfeiture laws which favour the authorities.

Here's a lawyer who says that they have special expertise in the area. Contact them, see if you'll get a free consultation

https://www.narwallitigation.com/practice-area/civil-forfeiture/

Is that a good start? I hope I've helped. I've been looking, and nowhere do I see any easy path for a layperson to get in front of a judge for this issue.
