So you are fine to go ahead and apply for citizenship if counting these days gives you the right number of days.

You cannot apply for citizenship while living in the US.

You have to be permanently living in Canada and then when you have made the residency requirements you can apply.

It's not likely that you will succeed if you are not living in Canada.

You can leave and come back for the interview. You have to apply from inside of Canada.
