Well, this makes way more sense: In Saskatchewan you CAN have applicants like you and Heather have children in their care for a "probation period", BUT in Alberta you CANNOT! That is how I have understood the Child PRotection legislation and practice in Alberta. Just like i said, and this lady comments: "...it sounds like Alberta plans to place the children with you when the Home Study is complete..." Just like i said to you: only if your home study comes back bad for the two of you, the judge may deny you private guardianship.
