Please note that the experts don’t text so there may be a bit of a delay. If you don’t answer back for a while I may not be online when you do but I will never desert you and will check back often. As well, as I am working from home it is possible that I will be interrupted but I will always return back as soon as I can.

I am sorry to hear of this difficult situation.

Are you asking whether you have to support your child now?

Customer
she had her child at 16 amd I continued to pay support. She is 20 now.
Customer
Also the pregnancy was hidden from until she had the child.

Does your daughter attend school full-time and still live at home?

Customer
Not full time school. Not sure where she leaves. I’m assuming at home.

Then she has no right to child support.

Child support stops at the age of majority unless the child attends school full-time.

Does that help?

Customer
it does. So I still had to pay when she was out of school having the baby.

You had to support her until she turned 18.

Customer
Ok thank you. What if she refuses to provide proof that my daughter is in school full time.

Legal Ease, Expert

You don't pay the support.
