Please note that the experts don’t text so there may be a bit of a delay. If you don’t answer back for a while I may not be online when you do but I will never desert you and will check back often. As well, as I am working from home it is possible that I will be interrupted but I will always return back as soon as I can.

I am sorry to hear of this difficult situation.

Are you asking if your son-in-law can apply for a divorce on the grounds of adultery because your daughter was chatting with the boy online?

I don't take calls but no one can call you to India. I am composing the answer now.

No. For divorce purposes chatting with a person does not constitute adultery. But in most cases in Canada no one proceeds to get a divorce by reason of adultery. It is not necessary because all they need is a one year separation to get a divorce.

Do you see what I mean?

Customer
Thanks for the feedback . No issue if you are not able to call. Appreciate your feedback . Thank you
Customer
Also can a cyber affair between two individuals of different countries & who have not met but just chatted on whatsapp or messenger influence the out come of separation proceedings & divorce as per Canadian law
Customer
Requesting your feedback on the above. Thanks a lot.
Customer
Thanks Debra. Really appreciate your efforts.

No it won't affect any outcome of the divorce because even if she had an actual affair our system is a no-fault divorce system and marital misconduct is not considered when it comes to financial matters.

Customer
Thank you Debra for being so helpful,. Have a nice day. Kind Regards
