When calculating the spousal support. do they take the average of the last three years income or the current year income

Has there been any agreement or order pertaining to spousal support just yet?

There are many ways that this can be done.

One way is to look at the average of the last three years and base income on that and then support is based on that income.

But another way is for there to be an annual review so that the spouses have to make disclosure each year and then the support is varied. That is done if there is also child support to be paid.

Another way is that there is a variation in a set amount of years such as three years or 5 years.

So for your purposes looking at an average of 3 years would make the most sense.
