Customer: is this for ontario family law
JA: What steps have been taken? Have any papers been filed in Ontario family court?
Customer: My daughter currently has 50/50 supervised access for her child. She is requesting medical records. For access I know she can, with supervised access can she legally request.
JA: Have they talked to a lawyer about this yet?
Customer: Can't get ahold of him today. My daughter has a dr's appointment tomorrow, and we need them. Lot's of other things involved. But just need to know this.
JA: Anything else you want the Lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not for now. We will deal with family lawyer, and CAS lawyer on other matters.

I am sorry to hear of this difficult situation.

Yes, access does include access to all documents and records whether the access is supervised or not.

Please feel free to post back with any follow-up questions you may have. If you don't have any then I hope I have earned a 5 star rating but if you don't feel that I have please don't hesitate to reply back and let me know what more I can do to assist you. Finally, please know that even after you rate me I will be here for you and you can ask follow-up questions if you think of them later on at no further charge of course.

Can you please provide me the legal statute on this, so we can provide to Dr. Ie, where it is in the family law act, section, subsection etc. And if it states anywhere, that it's irrelevant if it's supervised or unsupervised.

Frankly the doctor should know this as they have been taught this legal information. My own daughter is a paediatrician and knows it well.

The doctor can read this.

The only distinction made is access or no access.
