You can apply to the court for an order for access to your grandson. You would have to show that this is in the best interests of the child and given this fact situation I would think that is very simple to do.

The child is likely not getting adequate care and certainly could do with some extra care and outings. As well the poor kid doesn't even see his mother so he clearly needs more people tat love him in his life.

Most significantly the child was living with you until a couple of months ago.

If you can afford a lawyer then you should be retaining one.

Does that help as a starting point?

Please feel free to post back with any follow-up questions you may have. If you don't have any then I hope I have earned a 5 star rating but if you don't feel that I have please don't hesitate to reply back and let me know what more I can do to assist you. Finally, please know that even after you rate me I will be here for you and you can ask follow-up questions if you think of them later on at no further charge of course.

You are going to have to sue the father essentially.

You are going to ask the court for an order granting you access.
