Greetings,
Welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I am one of the attorney experts here at Just Answer.
Certainly, I will do my best to assist with any questions you have at present. Please note that I generally ask a few clarifying questions to understand and assess your specific legal question at present.
As a starting point to our conversation, can you clarify if you have considered reaching out to any business law group in Los Angeles that can discuss their fees for guiding you on setting up your spa and ensuring you obtain any necessary licensing or tax/sales certificates?
I look forward to working with you regarding your initial question and await your subsequent response to get started in our conversation.

Understood. Generally, you would want to contact a business law firm in Los Angeles since they would go over any business plan you have and recommend what type of legal entity (LLC, C-Corp, S-Corp) you should create as well to assist you with applying for any tax documents and/or licensing that you will need to have in place prior to opening the spa business itself.

Correct, but I would vet a few different firms and have some consultation meetings so you can compare what the different firms would charge and so you choose a firm you feel comfortable with hiring to carry this out for you. As a quick note if you are considering hiring a local attorney firm in your county for this work, on top of the Q&A services here on the thread, you have access to a free initial consultation with a local attorney in your area. For that benefit see https://bit.ly/3mvuol6. The initial consultation is free because you are a Just Answer customer.
Also generally, I would recommend that you reach out to the local bar association closest to you and use their lawyer referral service to be matched up with a few attorneys who specialize in that area of law who can meet with you to discuss taking this case on as your counsel. If your closest bar association is still limited due to Covid, you also have Avvo.com and Martindale Hubble to search for the closest attorneys to you who are open to taking on new clients.

As stated, you need to get advisement as to what type of business entity you should be creating based on your business plan, as well as to get all your state licensing in place so you can legally operate your business. You also will likely need help with any contracts related to the location you choose to open your Spa at in Los Angeles. This is why a business law firm in California would be your best option.

You are very welcome. At the moment, do you have any follow-up questions that I can address for you? Keep in mind you can return here at any time to post a follow-up message on this thread as this situation develops and I can respond and assist you further.

Unfortunately, I do not, which is why I provided the information on how to start the process to find a firm in my previous message.
