I am a tenant at QLD and asked a private company to inspect my home and give me a report (paid for by me) on a carpet

Expert's Assistant chat
Customer: Good morning. I am a tenant at QLD and asked a private company to inspect my home and give me a report (paid for by me) on a carpet issue. When the manager of the property saw the company's truck out of my house she asked me if I want her to be presented. I replied to her that "it doesn't need". Even though I told her "no", she immediately called the company seeking the reason they were here and asked for the report without my knowledge. Is the property's manager action illegal, and, if so, what does the law say? Thank you, Dimi
JA: Have you talked to a Queensland lawyer about this?
Customer: Not at the moment.
JA: What steps have you taken so far?
Customer: Nothing at the moment. I'm waiting for a laywer's opinion
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: I think no

John Melis, Expert

Hello, I’m John Melis, a solicitor in Australia, and I’ll be helping you with your question today.

As you consider that the property managers actions were not appropriate or even illegal, what you can do in the circumstances raise a claim in the Queensland civil administrative tribunal.

Customer
Can you please let me know what the law says or how can I name her action?
