Customer: he arrived Covid free but on Mon Jan 3 tested positive on an antigen test he had brought with him from Singapore. He has no where to live here in Melbourne.. so had a PC R test same day but has no result …
JA: What steps has your brother taken so far?
Customer: So he is unable to fly out on Sat as booked but can’t get any info as to his test result. In case he has filled in an assessment form on Monday night for govt hotel quarantine but there is a huge backlog. So many people have infected family members so there is nowhere to go to isolate… it’s costing him thousands and if he can’t leave on Sat even more… he feels safer in Singapore than he does stranded here unable to see or stay with friends or family. He just wants an antigen test to put his mind at rest and know if he can go home on his flight to escape the dreadful time he is experiencing.. I have stood in on his behalf. There are no antigen tests available anywhere in the state🤕😷🥴
