Hi! You’re speaking with John Melis, a solicitor in Australia.

Please tell me more about your case?

Customer
hi, so my neighbour and I awhile ago verbally agreed to switch our fridges around as she didn't need the big fridge and we were struggling to store stuff in our small fridge so we switched. My partner and I are moving about 8 hours away and had planned on selling the fridge she swapped with us but now she wants it back does she legally have a foot to stand on?

As the fridges were swapped as a trade, the neighbour cannot demand a fridge back. You can sell the fridge.Does this help with your question today?
Customer
