Customer: Hello, my ex partner , who is currently incarcerated for stalking charges, stole my mobile phone from me. When he was finally arrested the police also seized my mobile. I have asked the police for it back but they have said because my ex claims it is his and I can't provide enough evidence to say it's mine, ( he gave it to me as a birthday present) they have then said it's now a civil matter. But I for the life of me can't find the correct form to put in this application. I live in Australia
JA: Does your ex partner have any upcoming court dates on the stalking charges?
Customer: No, he has been sentenced
JA: Has he talked to an Australian lawyer about this yet?
Customer: No
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: His stalking charges are in relation to me. The person he brought the phone off will give a statement.
