I'm a contractor who has worked with a particular client for 4 years. At the end of each season I turn in my labor hours on an invoice for payment. For the last 3 years labor totalled just shy of $6,000. The past 3 years this was paid with no mention. This year there are two sudden changes. First, the client said he's going to arbitrarily pay me $4,050 instead of the $5800 that was billed. Second, suddenly a policy is instituted where, with every invoice, we have to have a document notarized ( I have to pay for notary) that says no further money is owed per that month with the resolution of the invoice. So if I agree to accept this $4,050, (I need it, I'm a landscaper in my off-season where income is very scarce) I'll be unable to take the client to small claims court for the remaining $1800 or so.1. Is the client suddenly able to require this documentation on work already executed? (In other words, don't we have to agree on this is how things will be from this point forward? )
2. Is it legal for me to have to pay money in order to get paid? (Notary cost)

Hello, My landlord is asking for $735.00 dollars to pay for a visit by the fire inspector when they determined I removed a covering that was hooked up to their alarm system. I was unaware that this covering was for this purpose. I though it was for a security system that I am not paying for. The covering was replaced and the fire inspector let me know what the purpose of this was for. Here is the verbiage in my tenant agreement relating to smoke alarms that are located in the ceiling but talk nothing about the wall coverings of which I removed.

The law provides he can get the last 5 years of his required 15 years of registration removed if he has been compliant during his first 10 years of registration compliance. Customer: In short I had a trucking business and had a $250 tax liability. Wrote the check and my now ex-wife never sent it in back in 2005 or 2006 several years after the divorce the IRS tried several attempts to make me pay and I was blindsided by this they haven't come after me for any civil or criminal action just several attempts to garnish my wages I did try to contact the accountant that did do my business taxes, but never did send me copies to get those filed and try to get this worked.

Judge found out CAP was paying. 3days later my attorney states landlord refuses any monies back rent included he just wanted me off the premises by 10/28/22. CAP gave the full check and I complied and was moved 10/27/22. I became homeless and moved in a shelter. I shelter case manager found me apt which I currently stay. Feb 2022 I had 2major back surgeries in which I almost died so I was in hospital 5weeksbefore coming home. My apt is on the 7th floor and another of times I'm stuck because elevator breaks down constantly and this landlord doesn't care, I've turned in documents from my doctor that I need to be on the first floor, that was in July 2022. I have PTSD and extreme anxiety disorder due everything I've been going through
